Thus, following the end of his contract with DCEU, fans were devastated to learn that James Gunn’s upcoming Superman: Legacy won’t be featuring the British hunk as Clark Kent.

Perhaps realizing the situation, fans expressed their desire for Henry Cavill to join MCU. As the Studio previously teased bringing Brian Braddock aka Captain Britain to the silver screen, fans found it the perfect opportunity for the British actor. Ditching the DCEU for good, the British actor appeared to be welcoming the door of opportunity from Marvel Studios, when he discussed the fan art with The Hollywood Reporter.
